How do I install WordPress plugins and themes?

WordPress plugins and themes can be added to a new or existing installation using the server command line or API. This functionality is supported by both Installatron Plugin and Installatron Server.

Commands:

./installatron --install
./installatron --edit

Optional arguments:

• install-plugin: The ID of a WordPress plugin or a list of WordPress plugin ID's separated by a comma.
• install-theme: The ID of a WordPress theme or a list of WordPress theme ID's separated by a comma.

Example 1: Install and activate a specific WordPress plugin with a new installed application on the server:

How do I update WordPress plugins and themes?

Typically WordPress plugins and themes are automatically updated as new versions become available. In the event a plugin or theme must be force-updated, Installatron Plugin and Installatron Server enable server administrators to update WordPress plugins and themes to the latest version using the server command line or API.

Command:

./installatron --upgrade

Required arguments:

• id: The ID of an installed application, a list of installed application ID's separated by a plus (+), or an asterisk can be specified to match all installed applications on the server.
• version: The version to update the installed application to. Setting this to "current" will skip updating the application (only plugins or themes will be updated), and omitting this argument will update to the latest version.

Optional arguments:

• plugin: The ID of a WordPress plugin, a list of WordPress plugin ID's separated by a comma, or an asterisk can be specified to match all WordPress plugins installed.
• theme: The ID of a WordPress theme, a list of WordPress theme ID's separated by a comma, or an asterisk can be specified to match all WordPress themes installed.

Example 1: Update a specific WordPress plugin for every installed application on the server:

/usr/local/installatron/installatron \
