The Installatron Automation API automates the process of installing new applications and managing existing installed applications, enabling billing and provisioning systems to install applications to new or existing hosting accounts autonomously. Both a HTTP-API and human-friendly command-line interface are provided. Typically new install information is emailed directly to the install owner. Documentation and sample billing system modules are available to jump start integration.
The Installatron Automation API interfaces are designed to be platform independent and are compatible with all hosting control panels. If a billing or provisioning system is currently able to instruct the control panel to provision hosting accounts, it will also be possible to instruct Installatron to install applications to hosting accounts.
