Preface

Development of the cPanel Enkompass product was discontinued by cPanel in 2012. While we continue to support and maintain Installatron Plugin for Enkompass, Enkompass is labelled as beta-quality because some advanced features are not available.

Installation

Download and run the below Windows installation wizard. Windows Administrative privileges will be required.

Important: Make sure to right-click and select "Run as administrator".

If you experience any errors, see troubleshooting.

Install Microsoft SQL Native Client

If Microsoft SQL will not be enabled this option can be skipped. To enable Installatron Plugin to communicate with Microsoft SQL, install the Native Client on the Enkompass server:

The installer's default options are acceptable—just click through the installer.

Get started

Installatron Plugin is now ready to use in cPanel Enkompass.

The administrative user and resellers will see an Installatron Admin button in their SAI panel.
Resellers will see an Installatron Admin button in their SAI panel and an Installatron Applications Installer button in their WSO panel.
Website owners will see an Installatron Applications Installer button in their WSO panel.

Maintenance

A Windows Task Scheduler process has been created to automate Installatron Plugin maintenance, including checking for Installatron Plugin and application updates.
