Installatron Releases Installatron Server 3.0

Installatron today announced the release of version 3.0 of its standalone web application automation solution.

Installatron, a leader in web application automation, today announced the release of Intallatron Server 3.0, its standalone web application automation solution. Tailored for medium-to-large web hosting providers, Installatron Server is an API and optional GUI that enables web application automation to be incorporated seamlessly into existing web hosting infrastructure.

The main focus of version 3.0 has been improving the Installatron Server administrative GUI, significantly improving configuration flexibility, and adding the revolutionary ability to clone/duplicate installed applications. Clone duplicates all files, directories, and database tables associated with an installed application, effectively creating a completely independent copy at a separate location.

Other features added in 3.0 include the ability to configure installed applications to automatically update as new versions become available, the ability to synchronously edit installed application login information and other values, and the ability to rapidly evaluate available applications using pre-installed demonstration instances.
