Installatron Maintenance

During installation, Installatron creates a Crontab or Windows Task Scheduler process that will automatically run Installatron Update once per day. This process can be disabled and re-enabled through Installatron's administion page.

If admin notifications are enabled, in Administration > Settings > Email, you will receive a summary of each automatic update.

You can manually run Installatron Update at any time by clicking run Installatron Update now in administration, or by running Installatron Update or Installatron Repair (both are the same script). This is the recommended first step any time you have a problem, and should be done after any server modification (software or hardware).

Installatron logs everything. You can find quick-links to the lastest lines in each log file in administration, or find the full files in /var/installatron/logs/ on Linux/Unix or %itron_dir%\Data\logs\ on Windows.
