All of our WebDAV backups have suddenly stopped working

We have been using Installatron to backup approximately 10 WordPress installations from 10 different cPanels. This has worked without any issues for two years but over the past few days they all started to fail.

I tried to create a new backup source on one of the cPanels and it returned an authentication error when creating the account.

I have tested the connection to the WebDAV server from my desktop computer using the same user name, password and port as our webserver is using any I was able to connect to it without any error.

I checked the logs on the WebDAV server and I do not see any failed login attempts.

QUESTION
Has there been a recent update that could have caused the Installation connection to our WebDAV server to fail? For example, an update that does not allow a connection to a WebDAV server with self-assigned SSL certificates.

Please advise!

Sorry to hear about the trouble. What's the version of Installatron currently installed?

If you have root access, reply with:

grep update /usr/local/installatron/etc/settings.ini
cat /usr/local/installatron/etc/version

Greetings,

To troubleshoot this further we'll need to capture debug log output. To do this, enable debug mode:

echo "debug=yes" >> /usr/local/installatron/etc/settings.ini
rm -f /var/installatron/logs/debug_log


Next, attempt to backup an installation, and then after you receive the error email the entire contents of /var/installatron/logs/debug_log to support@installatron.com. Once that's complete, remove "debug=yes" from /usr/local/installatron/etc/settings.ini.
