joomla upgrade .htacces

Dear reader,

Wheneven i upgrade a joomla installation the .htacces file gets overwritten.
This file is modified for SEF usage at my sites and must not be overwritten.
Who knows how to change the joomla upgrade so the htacces file is not overwritten?

Hello,

We'll improve Installatron's functionality for future Joomla releases by no longer overwriting an existing .htaccess file.

The problem is caused simply because Joomla includes a .htaccess file in upgrade package.
