Joomla Installer

Post by da8iwr » Sun Aug 12, 2007 1:07 pm

Hi There
I would like to have a few options of Joomla to install.

1 Standard (as you have it now)
2 Standard but with no demo content that is installed at the moment
3 Joomla and Virtuemart ecommerce edition ... &Itemid=66

Is this possible?

Many thanks

I've made a note to make sample-data optional when we convert the Joomla installer to the new installer format for Installatron5 (next month or so).

Addons aren't so easy for us to deal with. The best approach is probably to use the SDK to create a separate installer for the addon, or use the "Customizing Official Installers" system to have it add the addon when its doing a regular Joomla install.

If you have any questions about the SDK stuff, please feel free to create a support ticket.

Note that the SDK and customization systems will change for Installatron5 too.
