Hello,

Re-uploading the backups to the "/application_backups" directory is the first step. Once uploaded, extract the APP-META.INI file from the archive you wish to restore, rename it to an alphanumeric string like "80355073480594a99470dcacccd8cf2c", and then move it to the "/.appdata/backups" directory.

If you have any questions just let us know.

Thank you,
Phil

Hey there,

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I followed your instructions to restore a locally saved back_up from Installtron.

I saved it to the harddrive, uploaded the gz file to the application_backups folder trough an ftp program

Than unpacked the APP-META.INI file on my harddrive and renamed it to "80355073480594a99470dcacccd8cf2c" and uploaded it into the .appdata/backups/ folder over the ftp again.

However in the backend Direct Admin under my Applications and than My Backups the backup still does not show up.

Am I doing something wrong here? Hope you can assist me with this issue.

Hello,

In recent versions there's an extra layer of caching which will prevent this from showing up. Try navigating to this URL directly to refresh the cache:

Code: Select all

http://URL:2222/CMD_PLUGINS/installatron/index.raw#/backups/80355073480594a99470dcacccd8cf2c

Thank you,

Hi, I have the same problem and tried to force refresh cache, however my hosting account is shared and have the following URL:

https://sg2plcpnl0060.prod.sin2.secures ... et:2083/... (Pls note the https, also)

I've tried ports 2222 and 2083 and added the rest of the URL, but it didn't worked.

Is there another way to fix this?

Thanks,
K

Greetings,

While you could fix this by entering the correct URL into cPanel/Installatron, since you're on shared hosting I would recommend contacting your service provider. They should be able to execute commands from the server to correct this problem. Docs are here:

http://installatron.com/docs/admin/trou ... nginstalls

Best regards,
Josh
