Wordpress install - "All Pages" problem

Post by Danster » Sun Jun 14, 2015 7:20 am

Working on WordPress 4.2.2 when I came across an error in loading background images.
Wordpress blogs said to edit the .htaccess file , but in doing that , I lost all ability to see my blog and all I was able to view was php coding. Bummer.

At that point I had my web host re-set my cpanel3
and I've clean installed WordPress 4.2.2.
I am now able to view the WP dashboard, and uploaded a new theme.
If I click on the website name , I do get the first page of my theme.
However back on my dashboard , clicking "Pages" , all I get is php type coding , not the interface.
Looks like I've lost the ability to add /edit any pages in the dashboard.

So is there a step I've missed ? Why cant I start editing on "Pages" or "All Pages"?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. If I understand correctly, the current issue is that you're seeing PHP coding at the "Pages" screen?

Can you take a screenshot of this view and email it to me directly at jmartin@installatron.com?

Best regards,
