Hello,

Both are great applications. I wouldn't say either is too complicated for a beginner, but WordPress is definitely a really simple application to get started with.

Cheers,
Phil.

Wordpress is better than joomla, because of plugins and theme compatibility. In wordpress, with any version we use any plugin and theme, but in Joomla, we have to check the versions of plugins, components, modules and themes.
So Joomla is not good.

I think Joomla is a little more complex than Wordpress. It would require a certain level of knowledge about web development. But Wordpress is very simple and can be used by any person with a basic understanding of internet and web pages.

To a beginner I would not say, WordPress is too difficult, the start is very simple.
