Installatron Link not visible in Website Owner Interface

Post by RisenAngel » Wed Oct 12, 2011 9:37 pm

Ever since the new update I can no longer see the installatron icon in the advanced box. I've cleared my caches, updated installatron and looked to see if the access controls were set right. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and if so what's the fix for it?

Hello,

Try an update/repair:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/installatron/repair -f
If issues persist, let us know which theme this is experienced with.

Thank you,
Phil.

I am having a similar problem. The installatron icon is not visible on my clients cPanel when i have it set to Rvskin themes. It is visible when I have use X3.

In X3 I see the widget and the installer icon but it is not visible on any RVskin themes like rvblue, rvskin...etc.

I tried the repair mentioned above but it did not solve the the issue.

If anyone else has experienced this issue and fixed it please let me know how.

I am running a dedicated server
WHM 11.30.4 (build 6)
CENTOS 5.7 x86_64 standard on server

Thank you,

Tom

Tom,

Please open a support ticket:

https://secure.installatron.com/tickets

Include a cPanel-level account that we can use to login and investigate the problem further. If possible, including WHM and SSH root login information will speed the troubleshooting process.

Thank you,
Phil.

Same thing, except that I get a blank page both from the customer side and both from the WHM side.

This happened after the last update Installatron v7.0.8 which seems to have broken allot of Installatron installs, I searched Google and it seems Im not alone on this issue.

A patch or fix instructions should be posted online somewhere.

Gladly the command
/usr/local/installatron/repair -f

Fixed my servers, and thanks it maintained my custom changes and settings. Great quality. Keep up the good work. Installatron is really great !

Thats correct. The command does fix the issue, except that it came back overnight.

I did not received any upgrade emails from Installatron except some app updates:
UPDATED INSTALLERS

modx 2.1.4-pl
vanilla 2.0.18.1

So something else must be triggering this break.

Running the command again will probably fix it, but there is no point into fixing this after each update if we don't find the cause for it.

Maybe some logs to check?

Hi,

Please open a ticket with the output of these commands included:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/installatron/bin/php -v
tail -n 150 /var/installatron/logs/repair_crontab_log
Thanks,
Josh
