Problem when installing CMS via Installatron

I'm having quite some issues when trying to install Joomla/Drupal for example. When clicking on "Submit" at the end of the installation wizard, where normally you get the process bar that can take up to 5 minutes, the entire DirectAdmin site/port (2222) becomes slow, and it takes a few minutes to recover. The other services on the server remain stable. Afterwards, I get an error that contains the name of a database in the form of a random string. Sometimes I find 5-6 of those in the MySQL database list. All of them are empty.

The only way it does work, is by manually creating a database and configuring Installatron to install the application in that database.

Is this a known issue? What can I try to resolve this? Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks for the report. We've seen this type of problem before; it's most likely caused by an issue with the selected "Fetch driver".

First let's try switching the driver. To do this, run repair in interactive mode:

./ --edge

When prompted for a "Fetch driver", select an option other than the default. A system CURL binary is typically best.

If that does not help, please open a ticket with temporary server login details included in the ticket attachment. You can open up the admin login to us, or just create a temporary user-level account for us to troubleshoot with.
