SugarCRM Update Issue

Hi,

I just tried upgrading SugarCRM from 5.2.0e to 5.2.0f with Installatron, but I always get a script error. How to resolve?

Use the Contact Installatron Support button to open a ticket. It will add an error report for us to examine.

BTW, I am a little skittish about upgrading via Installatron until I know the cause of the issue. How does Installatron handle manual upgrades? If I apply the latest SugarCRM patch manually from within Sugar CRM, does this confuse or otherwise cause problems with Installatron?

Hello,

I replied to your ticket. This issue is now resolved.

Installatron uses SugarCRM's "silentUpgrade" method. There's a lot of information regarding this method on their forum.

If you upgrade SugarCRM outside of Installatron, just use the view/edit details button to inform Installatron about the new version.
