I am new to packaging, so can anyone please tell me what is Legacy setup and what are the disadvantages of it? Fast response is appreciable.

I heard that word("Legacy setup") somewhere. I thought it's an installation type. But I am not sure. I think installation from CD is called as Legacy Setup. Is it true? Let me know.

No, there are no CD's with Installatron. With Installatron, all installations perform directly within your web hosting control panel, no CD's or executables required.

I looked at the linked PDF but don't see how this is related to Installatron. It looks like that pertains to Windows MSI packaging? Installatron is for packaging web apps and is completely different.
