Issue with mysqli and Installatron

Post by tmg-studio » Thu Apr 17, 2008 10:28 am

We have a single server install of Installatron running here in our co-op. We heavily use and recommend Drupal for building out business websites. We have recently updated the server to enable mysqli on all of our Drupal installations but have encountered an issue.

All of the sites on which we installed Drupal using the Installatron installer are failing to operate with mysqli enabled in the settings.php file.

Yet, if we do a hand install of the same build of Drupal, it works just fine. Is there something going on with the configuration of the Installatron install that is not visible from our perspective? It appears as well that during the install, the mysqli option is not even made available. Is the Installatron version of Drupal different in some way from the standard install using the package from the Drupal site.

Thank you for your help!
