How do we change the user header in Directadmin

Post by interfaSys » Mon Apr 16, 2012 11:39 am

I think it's great to be able to show apps straight on the user's main control panel page in directadmin, but I couldn't find a way to easily change the header (da_enchanced_webapps.gif).

Replacing the file in the plugin will probably only work until the next Installatron update, so I'm looking for a more permanent way which would also take into consideration the user's locale settings.

Hello,

Currently, there's no setting to control the header image. I've entered a feature request for this. It should be added in one of the next edge builds.

Until the feature is available, I recommend replacing the image file and then locking the file so it can't be overwritten. This should lock the file:

Code: Select all

chattr +i da_enchanced_webapps.gif
If there are any questions let us know.

Cheers,

Thank you for the tip Phil!

And for people using FreeBSD reading this, use this:

Code: Select all

chflags schg /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/installatron/images/da_enchanced_webapps.gif

Just ran into this "issue" again, I hope the feature request has not been forgotten ;)
