Programming language tags and filters

Postby interfaSys » Tue Oct 14, 2014 8:14 am

I've seen .Net apps land in Installatron, and we have to monitor and block them so that customers don't get confused. Same thing with Perl apps.

It would be great if we could filter out apps written in a certain language. Should also work with custom apps we have written in Ruby, Python or node.js.

Hello,

Yeah, I agree this would be useful. At minimum the type of app should be listed on the Access Control page. We'll work on this for the next release.

Regarding .NET, these apps should automatically be blocked on Linux/FreeBSD servers. Where are these showing up?

Thanks,
Phil

Hello Phil,

They show up here

Code: Select all

CMD_PLUGINS/installatron/index.raw#cmd=admin-applications-accesscontrol

on FreeBSD
