Turn on SSL settings in apps if installed in a https:// URL

I've just noticed that Owncloud, per example, is configured to accept non-SSL connections, despite the fact that it was installed to a https:// URL and think it would be nice, when possible, to properly configure an app to force SSL connections if it's explicitly installed at a secure location.
It's possible with Owncloud, Wordpress, Joomla and probably many more.

Yes interfaSys, I've been thinking this too. Is there a way to force a secure ssl connection? Maybe there's a way to do it in the config file?

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion!

We're reviewing the changes necessary to deploy this across the board. Some apps already support this, others don't.

I'll provide another update here once the evaluation is complete.

Thank you,
Phil

Would love to see this for WordPress as well :)
