Hello,

To remove the SEO stamp from Magento, open index.php and cart.php from the installation directory and remove the first line of code, between the <?php and ?> tags. We strongly recommend backing up these files before making any modifications.

If there are any questions let us know.

Thank you,
Phil.

In another word, our hosting admin should turn it off manually.(go: Installatron Admin >> Settings >> Branding)
And it will be removed after the installed applications are upgraded through Installatron. For example:Wordpress 2.7.1 to 2.8.

Am I correct?

Thanks.

That is correct. In the near future we will be adding a button to apply the setting's value to every installed application.

Thanks,
Phil.

Hi,

Sorry to drag up an old thread but was this ever implemented? Trying to find a way to remove all branding from existing installs at the moment and seems like it will be a mammoth task if this feature doesn't exist.

Thanks

Hi,

If the branding settings are changed within Installatron Admin, the next time an application is upgraded the new branding configuration will automatically be applied. We never added the option to force-update these values as it's only been requested a few times over the years.

I've assigned someone from our company to take a look at implementing the option to force-update branding for one of the next 7.0.x maintenance releases. The old plan was to simply add a button right on the Branding settings page to "Apply" branding to all existing installs. I'll keep this ticket updated on our progress. ETA is 1 week at the earliest.

Thanks,
Phil.

Thanks for the update, would certainly be useful for us if this was available.

Regarding this topic, how could I remove the "Installed by Installatron" text from my Wordpress blog? I used Installatron to install it, obviously, but I can't seem to find the Admin > Settings > Branding section, my webhosting service is providing me with it.

Thank you!
