Hello,
whenever a new software update is available (i.e joomla 1.5.9 -> 1.5.10) Installatron sends an email to the admin notifying about that update - this email/notification is just fine.

the problem is, that if that specific software was not enabled in the Catalog, it is automatically added to it, allowing non-admin users to see it, therefor install it...

So you're saying that when a new version becomes available of an application that is disabled through Catalogs or Access Control, that it becomes re-enabled? We'll check into that and publish a fix if that's the case.

Hi,

I've confirmed a bug that occurs when Installatron downloads new versions of disabled applications. Instead of automatically disabling the new version(s), the new version(s) are enabled based off the server's Dependency settings. Any old versions that were disabled stay disabled though.

We will issue a patch for this later today. I'll post again when the fix is available.

The problem was part of the Update script, not the core software. That is, it was the update script enabling versions that shouldn't have been.

Both issues were in the update script. It's also responsible for downloading application updates.

this still seems like an issue.
every new update of an installation not in my catalog gets added to it...
